RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

All rental items remain the property of Glow Rental Boutique at all times.

By placing a booking, completing checkout, making payment, collecting an item, or accepting delivery of an item, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Rental Terms & Conditions.

📅 RENTAL PERIOD

The rental period begins on the agreed delivery or collection date and ends on the agreed return date.

Items must be returned on time and in the same condition in which they were received, excluding reasonable wear and tear.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, returns are due by 12pm on the day following your final rental day.

The rental item remains your responsibility from the moment it is delivered or collected until it has been safely returned, inspected, and approved by Glow Rental Boutique.

📦 DELIVERY & COLLECTION

Glow Rental Boutique offers nationwide delivery across South Africa, as well as free collection from our Glow Studio in Hyde Park, Johannesburg.

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate delivery details
• Ensuring they are available for delivery
• Ensuring they are available for collection
• Ensuring parcels are ready on the agreed collection date and time

If a delivery or collection cannot be completed due to incorrect details, missed communication, customer unavailability, estate access issues, security delays, or any other customer-related delay, additional courier fees may apply.

Glow Rental Boutique is not responsible for courier delays outside of our reasonable control.

💎 CARE OF RENTAL ITEMS

Rental items must be treated with exceptional care.

Please do not:

• Wash
• Dry clean
• Steam
• Iron
• Alter
• Pin
• Tape
• Glue
• Repair
• Modify
• Lend
• Sub-rent items
• Allow another person to use the item without permission

Additional cleaning, repair, or restoration fees may apply where necessary.

♡ Please do not alter me.
♡ If damaged, please do not attempt to repair me.
♡ Please keep me in the protective garment bag or packaging provided.
♡ Please return me in my original packaging.

🛡️ DAMAGE, LOSS & LATE RETURNS

The renter accepts responsibility for any damage, staining, alteration, loss, theft, missing components, non-return, or late return during the rental period.

Late returns may incur additional daily fees.

Lost, stolen, non-returned, or irreparably damaged items may result in charges up to the full retail replacement value of the item.

If an item is returned with damage beyond reasonable wear and tear, additional repair, cleaning, restoration, or replacement fees may apply.

Glow Rental Boutique reserves the right to assess the condition of returned items and apply charges where necessary.

✨ SECURITY DEPOSITS

Selected rentals may require a refundable security deposit.

Deposit amounts may vary depending on the item, booking, rental value, and risk profile.

If applicable, the security deposit will be refunded once the item has been safely returned, inspected, and approved by Glow Rental Boutique.

Deductions may be made from the deposit for:

• Damage
• Stains
• Missing components
• Late returns
• Additional cleaning
• Repairs
• Courier costs
• Replacement costs
• Any other costs incurred due to breach of these Terms

If the cost of damage, loss, or replacement exceeds the security deposit amount, the renter remains liable for the outstanding balance.

↩️ CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Approved cancellations may qualify for:

• Store credit
• Rescheduling
• Refunds in accordance with our cancellation policy

No refunds, credits, or reschedules will apply once an item has been dispatched, collected, delivered, or worn.

If an item does not fit, please notify us within 4 hours of delivery or collection so we can assist you under our FIT Check Policy.

Shipping, delivery, and collection costs are non-refundable.

♡ FIT CHECK POLICY

If your rental does not fit, you must notify us within 4 hours of delivery or collection.

To qualify under our FIT Check Policy:

• The item must be unworn
• The item must be unused
• The item must be undamaged
• Tags must remain attached, if provided
• The item must be returned in its original condition
• All packaging, garment bags, hangers, and supplied accessories must be returned, if provided

If approved, you may qualify for:

• An exchange, subject to availability
• Store credit
• A refund, subject to approval

Shipping, delivery, and collection costs are non-refundable.

The FIT Check Policy does not apply to worn items, damaged items, late returns, accessories, jewellery, bags, items with removed tags, or items that have been used, altered, stained, or damaged.

📸 PRODUCT IMAGES & SIZING

Product images, colours, textures, measurements, materials, and fit descriptions are provided as accurately as reasonably possible.

However, slight variations may occur due to:

• Lighting
• Photography
• Screen settings
• Prior wear
• Fabric movement
• Styling
• Designer variations
• Body shape
• Height
• Personal fit preference

We do our best to provide accurate sizing and fit notes, but fit may vary from person to person.

The renter remains responsible for selecting the appropriate size based on the information provided.
